Terms of Use
By using Strata you agree to these terms. They are written to be read.
Last updated 9 October 2026.
Who we are
Strata is owned and operated by Colazul Labs LLC (“we”). Contact: [email protected].
A beta, provided as is
Strata is in beta. It is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it is accurate, always available or fit for a particular purpose. Features can change or go away. Your documents live in your browser, so keep your own copies: download a JSON file of anything that matters.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Strata. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot legally be limited.
What we own
The Strata software, the templates and the content of this site (including the text, outlines, screenshots and design) are protected by copyright. © 2026 Colazul Labs LLC. All rights are reserved except those these terms give you.
Your documents are yours. We claim no rights in what you build.
Using the templates
You may use, copy and adapt the templates in your own work: your hierarchy, your decks and exports, and work you do for your employer or your clients. The templates are general industry examples and carry no warranty that they suit your situation.
You may not republish the templates as a collection, sell them or give them away as a template library, or present them as your own product.
What you may not do
- No scraping, and no training AI models. Do not use bots, scrapers or other automated means to copy, extract or bulk-download the site, the templates or their outlines, and do not use any of them to train, fine-tune or evaluate an AI model or to build a dataset. Search engines and AI assistants may read public pages to answer a person’s question and link back to them; that is welcome.
- No reverse engineering. Do not decompile, disassemble or otherwise try to extract the source of the software, except where the law lets you despite this term.
- No abuse of the service. Do not try to get into a shared document you have not been given access to, get around the password limits, or overload the service.
- No unlawful content. Do not share content you have no right to share. We may take down a shared link that breaks these terms.
Sharing
A shared link is protected by the passwords you set, and you decide who gets them. You are responsible for what you publish and for keeping the owner password safe. What is stored, and for how long, is in the privacy page.
Pricing
Strata is free during the beta. We make no promise that any feature that is free today will stay free. Plus is not available yet, and joining its waitlist is not a purchase and commits you to nothing. The price of Plus may change.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and if you keep using Strata after that you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and any dispute will be heard in the courts there.
